A shocking arrival experience
Upon entering the lobby, I noticed the cheerful staff who genuinely tried to address our concerns, offering warm hospitality despite the chaos outside.
The unsafe environment around the hotel left me feeling anxious, as there were groups of sketchy individuals loitering both in the parking lot and stairwells.

this roadway inn surprised me. The room was very clean, the beds were very comfortable, microwave refrigerator was very helpful for my kids. the grounds were clean. seems like they are renovating the room we stayed in was a hard wood floor there was no smell, and was very clean. the pool was nice and clean. the morning breakfast was above average the kids love the waffles and eggs. front desk was very helpful. we will defiantly be back next year for the fair.
we wish they had a shuttle for the fair

The staff welcomed me like family, and the cozy atmosphere made me feel right at home. The convenient location near Tacoma's port was a great bonus for exploring the area.

Nothing - it was a disaster. No hot water, room stunk, pillows and beds were marginal to say the least. We ended up moving across the street to the Days Inn due to poor conditions of our accomodations.

The location was comfy and handy - an easy walk to everywhere we wanted to go. Again, it was 2 miles from Tacoma Dome Arena. We had a double room which was cheap, comfortable bed. A bath in the clean bathroom was super awesome...

The warm hospitality from the staff was good as comfortable as a grandma in her favorite chair. The place had a cozy vibe that brightened my mood .
Better safety measures around the hotel.

They did not lose our reservation. Convenient to the Tacoma Dome. Bed was comfortable
Hotel changed its name to Hampton Inn but is too lazy to change the name on the web site. We wasted 30 minutes driving around in a downpour looking for the now defunct Econo Lodge. Also non-smoking room had strong smell of stale cigarettes.

The location offers easy access to nearby attractions. Some amenities, like the size of the rooms, provide a decent amount of space for travelers.
Upon arrival, the parking lot was filled with groups of people loitering, feel unsafe and crowded. The room came with missing blinds, and cleanliness in the bathroom felt subpar. The key card system malfunctioned . Discovering that the room wasn't actually meant to be rented left me feeling less secure about my reservation.

I didn't like anything about this hotel. Everything about it was awful.
It's not called Econo Lodge, it's the Travelodge. The staff was disinterested, the carpet was filthy, the bathtub was moldy, the washcloth in the bathroom was used then folded and replaced on the rack, there were black streaks on one of the pillows, the picture on the TV was lousy.

Staff made me feel very welcomed right from check-in.
The area felt unsafe with many unsavory characters around.

No hot water or towels. No extra chairs or couch. Felt like a trucker motel.
